How did Cuboid come about?
Cuboid wasn't born from an idea—but from a practical need.
We have been involved in developing and streamlining the operations of approximately 500 terraces. Over the past ten years, we have seen the same problem recur: there is demand, but sales cannot keep up. Lines grow longer, staff become overwhelmed, and a significant portion of potential remains untapped.
We wanted to resolve this.
The goal was to create a solution that is genuinely profitable for restaurants—not a heavy investment, but an easily accessible tool for boosting sales. At the same time, we wanted to ensure that the product is available anywhere: its modular design makes it possible to deliver and install it on virtually any patio.
We combined this with the expertise of Metos Oy, a leader in the industry, in equipment and commercial kitchen solutions.
The result was Cuboid—a solution driven not merely by a product-centric mindset, but by the goal of improving the customer’s business performance.

Behind Cuboid is a team of experienced professionals in the restaurant industry and concept development. We are united by nearly a decade of hands-on experience and the successful implementation of hundreds of outdoor bars in various settings across Europe.

Over the years, we have learned how to build a patio bar that is truly efficient, profitable, and easy to operate. Cuboid was born out of this understanding.
